Former NBA hall-of-famer and Olympic gold medalist Adrian Dantley at 58 is now school crossing guard earning less than $15,000 per year.

Dantley who played for the Utah Jazz and Detroit Pistons started as a crossing guard in September at Eastern Middle School and New Hampshire Estates Elementary School in Silver Spring, Maryland, according to Huffington Post.

Dantley does this job not because he needs the money, but because he believes he is doing some good for his community and for something to do. He says he enjoys giving the kids high fives and encouragement and that he has saved the lives of two kids while on the job.
