Senait – Underprivileged Teen Accepted to College

 

Meet Senait Weldemariam, the daughter of African immigrants who will be the first one in her family ever to go to college. She was helped by the Young Women’s Leadership Network affiliation with  the CollegeBound Initiative, which serves low income students in New York City public schools. She starts this fall at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA. Watch as she tells her inspiring story of her journey.
