Former NBA hall-of-famer and Olympic gold medalist Adrian Dantley at 58 is now school crossing guard earning less than $15,000 per year.
Dantley who played for the Utah Jazz and Detroit Pistons started as a crossing guard in September at Eastern Middle School and New Hampshire Estates Elementary School in Silver Spring, Maryland, according to Huffington Post. Read more

Police Officer’s Final Act of Kindness Caught on Tape (Click for Video)
In what was to be his last conversation, San Diego police officer and Afghanistan war veteran, Jeremy Henwood, is seen on a surveillance camera doing one last act of kindness.
The officer was ordering food at McDonald’s when a young boy comes up to him and asks if he has a dime. Henwood asks what it is for and the boy tells him that it is for cookies. Henwood then offers to buy the cookies. Read more
