Documentary filmmaker and Webby Award Founder Tiffany Shlain has a new movie called Brain Power: From Neurons to Networks and accompanying TED book that explores the affects that media and technology have on our brains and human interaction.
In this interview with THNKR, she discusses how the more different connections you make in a child’s brain, the more creative he will be. She then relates this on a larger scale to what she calls the global brain – the more people that get connected, the more innovative insights we will have around the world.
She also says that what you watch reshapes your brain. If you watch a lot of negativity, it is going to negatively affect your brain.
