Caine’s Arcade 2: The Global Cardboard Challenge & Imagination Foundation
Caine’s Arcade is still going strong and the inspiration that this one young boy gave to so many is now a world-wide phenomenon. Cain has grown more confident through the experience, his stuttering has gone away and he is doing better in school. Kids all around the world are inspired by his creations and are charged to make their own cardboard creations.
Incredibly creative nine year old Caine Monroy built an arcade out of cardboard boxes in his father’s auto parts store in east Los Angeles. Watch in this heartwarming and inspiring video as a flash mob and the local news descends on his arcade one afternoon.
A scholarship fund has been set up for Caine at cainesarcade.com. At the time of this post, the target of $25,000 at already been reached.
