The first step in the fight against cancer is believing in the cure. But the chemotherapy treatment is difficult, especially for a child. To help them believe, super hero covers for chemotherapy intravenous bags are being used at the A.C. Camargo Cancer Center in Brazil. To change the negative perception of the treatment, they are transforming chemotherapy to “Superformula.” Read more

Vincent Gatto won a bet against his wife Amanda, which banned her from Facebook last week. During this time he got everyone he could to like and share a photo of her before and during chemotherapy. This video is her reaction to seeing everyone’s loving words.
It’s cancer’s turn to be afraid (video)
Cancer Research UK, the world’s leading independent charity dedicated to cancer research, has produced this awesome ad to show why more research is needed for this dreadful disease. The ad tells us that it’s cancers turn to be afraid and one day we will beat cancer.
Clouds by Zach Sobiech
Zach Sobiech was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in 2009. Since his diagnosis, Zach has endured several surgeries and months of chemo. In May, 2012, the cancer spread to his pelvis and lungs. There are no known effective treatments left. As Zach fights to live, he remains the same joyful soul he has always been. He still smiles as brightly as he did before cancer – it just means more now.
Randy Pausch – Last Lecture
This speech made by Randy Pausch was made famous after it was featured on Oprah. It was also later made into a best selling book. The speech was delivered on September 18, 2007 by Professor Pausch as he knew he was going to die from cancer in a few months. He did indeed succumb to his illness in July 2008.
